The UK’s energy gel with fully recyclable packaging

Purendure is designed to be better for you and kinder to the planet. Made from fully recyclable PP5 mono‑material with no aluminium, Purendure pouches, lid included can be easily recycled through most kerbside schemes across the UK.

Traditional energy gel packaging often uses mixed layers of paper, plastic and aluminium, which require specialist recycling equipment and frequently end up in landfill. In contrast, Purendure’s single‑material design ensures straightforward recycling and a lower environmental footprint.

Purendure uses non‑toxic, aluminium‑free and BPA‑free materials and supports a circular recycling system where clean PP5 can be repurposed into new packaging and products.

Purendure outer boxes are also fully kerbside recyclable, ensuring the entire packaging system is designed for minimal environmental impact.

How to recycle your Purendure pouch:

  1. Empty and rinse the pouch.
  2. Replace the cap to prevent small plastics from being lost during sorting.
  3. Place it in your kerbside recycling if your council accepts PP5 flexible plastics.

You can check your local recycling guidance via Recycle Now. If PP5 collection isn’t available, simply drop your used pouches at participating supermarkets or community plastic‑recycling points.
